As the owner of T&J Studios in Wichita, his work reflects both a deep appreciation for aviation heritage and a passion for capturing compelling visual moments.
A Wichita native and graduate of Wichita State University with a degree in Marketing, Brett has worked with aviation manufacturers, publications, businesses, and industry leaders throughout his career. His photography ranges from large-scale commercial projects and editorial assignments to fine art collections featuring aviation, landscape, and travel imagery.
Since 2015, Brett has served as the lead photographer for B-29 Doc, one of only two airworthy B-29 Superfortresses flying today. As part of the flight crew, he has traveled extensively documenting the aircraft, its crew, veterans, and the stories that surround this historic airplane. Those experiences continue to influence his photographic style — blending history, emotion, craftsmanship, and motion into images that are both dynamic and timeless.
